"A huge "THANKS" to the Dunfee Group for helping us find the perfect home - what an amazing team! We literally would never have closed on the home of our dreams if Christy hadn't stepped in to light a fire under our California-based loan company -- avoid Watermark Loans like the plague! They totally dropped the ball on our loan and we learned the hard way that doing business with out-of-state loan companies is a horrible idea! They may woo you with great rates, but if they don't close on time, or blow the deal entirely -- what good is it?! Unfortunately for all parties, this company failed to communicate that they simply were going to miss our close date by several days -- for no reason! Our sellers were ready to take our earnest money and walk away and they had another full priced cash offer too!, Before that could happen, Christy contacted the President of Watermark, put on them task until they had our loan on the top of their priority list. Christy communicated all throughout the process with the sellers' agent, us, the loan company and even the title company to walk this through to completion. She found ways to expedite the closing process and had the forethought to scan color copies of all paperwork before we over-nighted it to California so the local title company could get rolling on it first thing in the morning MST. Watermark Loans literally agreed to override some of their internal processes in order to get our loan closed in the nick of time before our entire deal fell through! It was an incredibly stressful situation, and we are eternally grateful for all that Christy and the Dunfee Group did to help support us throughout it all. Major lessons were learned -- work with local lenders and stick with realtors that work as a team like the Dunfee Group to avoid undue stress when buying real estate!" - Lisa
